As I watch these days count down, a few things have occurred to me regarding timing:

1. My wedding anniversary is June 11, the day before our targeted launch date.  This shouldn't present any trouble, but I'm keeping it in mind like a good husband, just in case.
2. I want to plan for a day at the end of the trip to meet up with some local friends who I don't often get to see, some nice dinner & drinks, look at pictures and tell tall tales, and generally decompress before flying back to CO.  And shower too.  Maybe shower first.
3. The time available to me to lose some of this excess weight is dwindling.  Maybe I'll just relabel it "ballast", or "energy store".  I'm looking to lose 18 lbs...so come on, guys, make with the encouragement.
