Lots of lessons learned and a few reminders that the weather decides our trip more than we do. We did get to do what we wanted to do, so the trip was a great success, even in the cold and wet environment. I got a new shirt out of it that had washed up on the shore, and it was even the right size! One lesson I learned, the new cooler bags work awesome, well at least when it's in the 30's at night and 50's during the day.
Way to document our trip Baxter. Great pictures! I'm really excited to see what the southern end of the reservoir looks like. Very informative trip, weather and packing issues to consider as we move forward. Leaving my car at Morrison with food and beverages an absolute must.
ReplyDeleteThose pictures are terrific, especially the cooking. How did the hammock + rainfly do in the cold & wet?
ReplyDeleteit helps to put the rainfly on properly....
ReplyDeleteummmm, yeah, it would have been much better if I put the fly on right. I was rather wet.
