Kayak adventure

I will miss my canoe...it has served me well!  That being said, the kayaks will bring us several new possibilities and limitations. Having to travel to the cars (possibly at different access points) for meal missions/beer runs adds an interesting element to our adventure...

I love the idea of traveling light... and I like to bring all my toys.  I wonder how much shit I can pack into my boat?  This is a very exciting dilemma...I like a new challenge.  I bought a $26 pair of antimicrobial underwear this weekend to save on pack weight...one pair for the week baby!

I intend to drag Joe on a reconnaissance mission on Sunday....will update the blog accordingly.

  2. Gross dude! That being said, this trail loop looks awesome. The description on the site said "most difficult" but it didn't show the other ones so I'm guessing its middle if the road.
    Scale

    2. Very difficult
    3. Most difficult
    4. Extremely difficult
    5. Life threateningly difficult

So this trail is only a three. Good.

  3. Do you have a link to the trail map you're looking at? I need some visuals. ...of the locale, not the underwear.

Check out the brochure link, there is a small area map there, hoping for decent weather Sunday, even if it is in the 40's!
