Morrison Trail Loop and Rim Rock Trail Allegheny National Forest 4/14/2013



Had a great hike at Morrison Trail!  Great camping ground too, it's definitely on our must stop and must hike spots for our trip!

    I hope we see LOONs....and Joe's transformation into a 10 yo girl! Great day! I'm glad Joe took so many pictures of my new pack. Had some trouble putting my socks on this morning, but feeling a lot better than I expected. Ice and Ibuprofen did the trick, damn knees. No way I could manage this with a 50 lb pack. My backpacking days may be over....sorry AT :(

    Really great pictures. It's easy to forget how green & mossy the world is at sea level. How many miles did you guys get in?

    ..is Joe afraid of loons?

    It was about 10 miles ish all together. I LOVE loons, and when I see one I yell LOON and then try to talk to it. Like on golden pond. So it's an excited thing, not a scared thing. LOON!!!

    damn thing was only 30 feet away from us, I was f-ing excited.
